Gobin Recipient of Running Start Advocate Award

Joy Gobin, Extended Learning Opportunities Coordinator from Lebanon High School is among 7 individuals to receive the Running Start Champion Award. Gobin represents the Running Start Program affiliated with River Valley Community College.

The Governor and the Community College Systems of NH recognizes that many high school teachers, administrators, and staff members have taken on additional responsibilities to make the Running Start program a success.

Each year, CCSNH acknowledges the efforts of an individual from a high school in each region the colleges serve who has been instrumental in advocating for and supporting Running Start with an advocate award.

Nominations and selections are based on a variety of criteria, including length of service to the Running Start program, number of students served, role played in the growth of the program, depth of involvement, and general support.
